Uniform
The following images depict the new uniform, which commenced in term 4 2022. Items of the existing uniform can still be worn until the end of Term 3, 2024.
Footwear
Students have a choice in their footwear styles (e.g. traditional school shoes, runners, boots, sandals, etc) but they are to be completely black, including laces and logos.
Students must be able to independently take off and put on their own shoes, including fastening them. If your child is not confident with laces, we recommend shows with velcro fasteners.
As many shoes look similar, it is important to label them in some way. This can easily be achieved by a coloured spot (paint, nail polish, texta, etc) inside your child’s shoe.
Summer, Winter or Sports Uniform?
The school does not have a formal period for summer and winter uniforms. All items of the summer/winter uniforms can be interchanged and worn together at any time of the year. They are presented this way for ease of understanding.
Please note, that the uniform is unisex so please ignore any ‘boys’ or ‘girls’ markings on these images.
Sports uniform is to be worn each week on your child’s sports day. The class teacher will indicate when this is at the beginning of the school year. Sports uniform can also be worn during school or interschool carnivals. It is not to be worn as a regular uniform on non-sports days.
Kindy & Pre-primary
We recommend that Kindy and Pre-primary students wear the sports shorts as part of the regular uniform. These are easier for children of this age to manage for independent toileting.
Uniform Purchase
Uniforms can be purchased directly through the school office. They cannot be purchased through the Perm-a-Pleat store on Cockburn road.
Discontinued items of the existing uniform are now half-price.
Second-hand uniform is available through the P&F’s uniform coordinator. Please call the office for contact details.
Hats
Students (and staff) are expected to wear a hat at all times when outdoors. Students that don’t have a hat are required to play in the undercover areas.
Library Bags
All students from Pre-primary to Year 6 require a library bag. This is brought to school on your child’s designated library day, which will be shared by teachers at the beginning of the year.
