Enrolment Procedure

Parents will receive an information pack containing a letter from the Principal, Application for Enrolment, School Fees Schedule, and the School Prospectus.

Parents and prospective students are encouraged to have a school tour prior to proceeding with the Application.

Parents then submit an Application Form and payment of the non-refundable $100.00 Application Fee.

The Office will send a receipt of the application and the fee, and will inform parents of a date when an interview with the Principal will be offered. Parents will be asked to send to the school prior to the interview date: birth certificate; current immunisation details; court orders; any relevant specialist medical reports; copies of past school reports; Parents may also be asked to provide samples of writing and previous school work.

The enrolment process consists of a tour of the School, a formal interview with the School Principal and an orientation session in the classroom in which the student is seeking enrolment.

If Parents are applying for entry for a child at Pre-Kindergarten level the child must spend a morning at the school for the teacher to assess their readiness for commencing school. If the child is not ready to commence, the application will be placed on the waiting list and the parents contacted after an agreed time, for further assessment and observation of the child. Children are admitted to the School as soon after their third birthday as possible, after the teacher’s assessment of their readiness.

If the application is unsuccessful due to lack of space in the child’s particular year level, the application will be placed on the waiting list and parents contacted when a position becomes available in the relevant class.

If an application is successful, the parents will be required to complete the enrolment information and sign the Enrolment Agreement. A tax-deductible building levy fee of $850.00 is payable at this time

Priority of enrolment will usually be given to those children with enrolled siblings already attending the school, provided the parents have continued to demonstrate support for the School and its philosophy.
