I have joined the Parklands School Board as a recent retiree with a background of working in family and child health. I know the importance of nurturing children and families to support development during the early years of life.

To me, the Parklands school community sees and values children as unique individuals, creating the supportive environments that promote their best outcomes - physically, socially and emotionally. The flow that the school is developing between inside and outside, nature-based learning is particularly inspiring for nurturing the whole child.

As the loving Nonna of a Parklands pupil, and a newbie to the world of School Boards, I am very happy to contribute time and energy to this community.
