My passion for watching children learn led me to start my career in childcare. After eight enriching years, I felt the need to continue my professional growth and ventured into teaching. This new path only deepened my love for witnessing the intellectual and emotional growth of children. There is something so special about sharing in a child’s wonder as they explore and engage in the world around them, discovering new things and forming their unique perspectives.

In 2020, during my third-year professional placement, I had the opportunity to serve as a pre-service teacher at Parklands. The vibrant environment and the sense of community there captivated me. Four years later, I was presented with the chance to work in that very environment, and I seized it.

Now, I cherish the daily experience of watching each of my unique students learn, grow, and pass on their knowledge to others. Their creativity and kindness are the highlights of my day. Outside of teaching, I have a fascination with crystals. I find joy in understanding the different energies, intentions, and mindfulness they bring to our lives, not to mention their stunning beauty.
