I became an Education Assistant in 2005 when both my boys attended Parklands.

I began volunteering as a parent helper, which inspired me to switch my career from working in a Jewellers to becoming an Education Assistant in the Kindy.

Being a parent allowed me to adapt well to early childhood teaching and work proficiently with children and parents.

It’s rewarding seeing children in the Kindy grow and develop their skills and confidence and become independent learners, ready for the next stage of their schooling.

Seeing the joy and excitement of students achieving their milestones is a rewarding experience for me.
