Working at school allowed me to experience teaching and supporting students, teachers, and parents, while also getting the benefit of coaching my own children when they were younger.

I see working as an Education Assistant as an opportunity to feed my passion to help young children grow. Helping to create a learning environment where the children feel safe, heard and valued gives me a sense of pride.

Observing the students is a big part of my role. It helps me identify strengths and challenges for students, fostering solid relationships.

I like that I can express myself, and in particular my love of gardening, in the classroom by wearing clothes with interesting prints e.g. animals, flowers, and insects. They are a great talking point!

It is a great privilege to be a part of the students' learning journey at Parklands School.
