Susan Penter
Deputy Principal
I'm a passionate educator who believes that ‘every interaction matters’. With a deep commitment for developing child-centred, strengths-based classrooms and advocating for nature-based learning, I am committed to creating respectful, joyful, and empowering learning environments.
As a familiar face within our Parklands community, I co-developed and led the very successful Bush School program and bring a wealth of experience, and a diverse background to my role, having previously worked in Industrial Relations, Employee Advocacy and Policy Development.
My vision for Parklands focuses on building respectful relationships, nurturing a culture of excellence, wellbeing and holistic learning. I believe every child has the power to create positive change and develop a love for learning.
When I'm not at school, I love yoga, pilates, art, music and spending time with my family and dog.
